BC-FMQ: Free Motion Quilting Class

BC-LD: Liberation Day Class
This is a quick project, and the technique used in creating this quilt is strip piecing. Five different fabrics are used to make this wall quilt. The twirling and swirling are created by using the background fabric as part of the star as, well as the shifting of the fabrics in the lone star block layout. The added eight points of the star draw your eyes to the center of the spiral.

TB-SA-EF: Enchanted Forest Sew Along Class
Introducing SCF’s 4th Sew Along! Beginning March 2026, each month for 12 months, we will learn how to create a different element of this FUN quilt! On the 13th month we will put it all together! The first class will be an Organizational Meeting to get ourselves ready for this fun adventure, and to get you started! Each month you will come to class with your pieces cut for that month’s section and we will sew in class. You will then have a month to finish and cut for the next class. The Sew Alongs tend to fill up quickly and we will NOT be adding additional sections. There are several fabrics required, a kit will be available.

Christmas may be over, but finishing a project for next Christmas is possible by starting now! This beautiful quilt could be a wall hanging or easily enlarged to make a bed quilt. There is regular piecing as well as a little applique. Looks amazing in traditional colors, or try something different in shades of blue, or try batiks or metallic fabric! There are several fabrics required, let us know if you are interested in a fabric kit!
