Laura Heine Class

Our first class will be an introduction, overview and planning class. Please be sure to have your pattern and Pattern Ease.
Please bring the following to class -
Laura Heine Pattern – each person in class will need their own pattern. Mini Series Patterns work best for this class. There are several to choose from. We have some in stock at the store, however if there is one in particular you would like, please let us know at least 2 weeks in advance to make sure we can get it and get it on time.
Pattern Ease – each pattern requires a different amount, you will need the required amount listed on your pattern. Pattern ease is not paper. It will remain in your project
Steam a Seam 2 – must be Steam a Seam 2 – it is double sided and repositionable, regular fusible web is not. Again – each pattern requires a different amount – please purchase what your pattern calls for.
Large variety of fabrics in the color theme you would like to use for your project. You will need lots of fabrics, but not a lot of any in particular.
Pen and paper for notes
HIGHLY recommended
Although these products are not required for class, they do make this type of project much easier with little to no hassle.
- Appli-Fuse Mat – we have 3 sizes to choose from, we will discuss in class to help you decide if this is an item you will want to use.
- Karen Kay Buckly or Moda serrated, sharp point scissors. Again, we will discuss in class with demonstrations on how to use these and how they differ from “regular” scissors.

Sew Classic Fabrics Class Policies
Thank you for choosing to take a class with Sew Classic Fabrics. We hope you are highly satisfied with your classroom experience. Our goal is for each student to be fully engaged in learning and enjoying ...
Our class policies reflect our desire for each student to arrive prepared and ready for their class. Payment in full is required when you register. This holds your space. If the class does not fill and/or we need to cancel due to insufficient numbers or adverse weather conditions, you will receive your money back in full. If we reschedule and it doesn’t suit you for this date, we will refund you your money. If you need to cancel, please do so 48 hours ahead of class time in order to receive your full refund. This allows us time to notify those on a waiting list. Sorry if you forget to come, we cannot refund you any fees incurred.
Please review your class supply list carefully. If there is home work prior to class, please complete it. We cannot hold up the entire class if one member does not have proper preparations made. You may email the teacher if you have any questions. Please know how to thread your machine, sew a straight line and wind a bobbin before starting a class. Our teachers are not prepared to give a guide class on various machines plus teach their class. If you need machine owners lessons, we can schedule one at your convenience at $75.00 an hour.
Please come in the back door. Parking is closer and we will be glad to help you carry in your machine and supplies if you need help.

We have a “back door” entrance for our classes that you are welcome to use! The door is on the front side of the building to the right of the main entrance in the inside corner. Evening classes need to use this door as the main door will be locked after hours. If your class is over lunch-time, you can either pack a lunch or eat at the Hungry Farmer Café.
