Liberation Day Class

This is a quick project, and the technique used in creating this quilt is strip piecing. Five different fabrics are used to make this wall quilt. The twirling and swirling are created by using the background fabric as part of the star as, well as the shifting of the fabrics in the lone star block layout. The added eight points of the star draw your eyes to the center of the spiral. Quilt measures 48" x 48".
