This mounts on the back of these machines that have 2 recessed screw holes on the back side of the unit. This lets you use large cones of thread or holds any spool size and feeds off the top of the unit. The rod telescopes to make it easy to clear the top of the machine and pushes down for compact storage. Your hard cover will not fit over the machine when this unit is attached.
