Simply cut out the apron and lining at the same time and cut pockets and lining and then sew up the ties and place them in between layers at the designated points, with the straps inside, pin in place, fabrics are right sides together and sew around the whole apron leaving a 6 inch opening at the bottom for turning. Clip corners and snip curves so it lays flat. Turn around and top stitch 1/4 inch all the way around to keep its shape. Sew shut the opening as you top stitch. Now sew up the pockets the same way. Sew a seam around pocket and lining right sides together leaving an opening at the bottom for turning. Clip the corners to reduce bulk and turn right sides out and press. Place pockets on apron and sew in place before or after sewing up apron. Whichever you prefer. Ta da! You did it!
